Fifth Imam Mohammad Baqir (a.s)
1) The one who goes to a (person who badly mistreats people) & very mean ruler ruler & instruct him to buy/own/receive religiousness & scares him & warns, preaches & strongly encourages/warns him he would have a reward similar & equal to both serious beings the people& the jinn & the Similar (amount) of their good deeds. Biharul Anwaar Vol 75 Pg 375
2) Islam is founded & based upon five things The maintaining of services & the living out ofmoney for the poor & the hajj of the house of Allah (kabah) & the (not eating food) of Ramadhan month & guardian ship of us the ahlulbayt {( house hold of the holy predictor of the future(s.a.w) )} so in the four of those there exists excuse (leave and permission) but in ( accepting & believing) guardianship no room for excuse or allowance has been given. And for the person who does notgroups of armed men wealth, there exists no zakat,(money for the poor giving) & the one who iswithout wealth does not have to perform Hajj.
And the one who is ill offer his prayer sitting & may not observe fast. Anyway, guardianships is binding 7 required while he is healthy or ill or whether he is rich & rich or possessing no wealth ( wasail u shia vol 1 pg 14
3) Allah showed/told to Shoaib (a.s) "I will punish one hundred thousand people out of your community, forty thousands of their evils & evil ones & sixty thousands from the religious ones among them...
so he said "Of lord, these ( forty thousands) are the evils one so what for these religious (are to be tortured)?
This way Allah (subhanahoo) showed/told to him saying " for the reason that those religious onessweet-talked and encouraged & complimented the people of sin during their social bury courses they showed (ability to change) & friendliness to the sinners and did not become angry with them for the sake of my anger & unhappiness/irritation ie ( they did not perform the duty of ordering the good deeds & forbidding the evils actions.) (Mishkat ul anwaar P 51)
4) The obedience of Imam following his recognition is the highest highest point & peak & he most worthy of stations & the key to the religion,& gate way & door to the affairs & pleasure of kind(Allah).
More over, if a man keeps standing whole night for prayers & keeps on (not eating food) during the day & gives out all his wealth as Money for the poor & perform Hajj all the years of his life and does not recognize the guardianship of the saint of Allah to love him & perform all his practices under his guidance & leadership, he does not have any right out of his rewards & he is not among the faithful.( wasail u shia vol 1 pg 91)
5) And do know that you will not become our friend until ( such time ) that if all the residents of your city all together form his opinion about you & say in fact you are a bad person" This saying of them does not make you sad & if they say "In fact you are a religious man" this does not make you glad. And but you compare yourself with the book of Allah.
So if you are traverser of it's way , religious in it's religious feelings ( where ever you are demanded & require to be religious), prone and drawn tos its persuasion, afraid of it'sthreatening/making scared & threatening, so remain firm. And glad news/information for you because what they (people) say about you will not harm you.
TUHFUL AQOOL P 284)
6) Suleman bin khalid narrates Abi jafer Imam Mohammad baqir (a.s) said ( may i not inform you about the Islam's principle, it's derivatives & it's submit, highest point & hump?" I said "Yes why not, I may lay my life for you.
He said " However, it's principle is service & it's derivatives is Money for the poor giving & it's peak & submit is jehad (holy war). then he said " If you please I may inform you regarding the door of help"
I said "Yes. I may lay my life for you.
He said "(not eating food) is a shield against (hell) fire & charity & dole removes & finishes sin ,& so does the memory of Allah in the mid night.
Ussol al kafi Vol 2 Pg 23
7) The person who serves Allah according to the religion so putting himself in great inconvenience & hardship for it & does not have (submit to) an imam fixed by Allah then hiseffort is unaccepted (rejected). And he is a lost, gone away from what's right & thinking person in (a state of) confusion. And Allah is the enemy of his practices. And his example is that of a sheep which has lost her guard/guide & group of animals & remains wandering here & there, all the day long. There after (the night) when the guard/guide drives the group of animals she again getssurprised and shocked & confused not finding her own guard/guide & group of animals. And (again) finds a guard/guide with a group of animals (only) to mistakenly join it & the guard/guidehaving seen her shouts at her asking her to go & join its own group of animals since, she has lost her guard/guide & group of animals. And she is amazed & at a loss to know what to do? She being afraid of the wolf is running this way & that way. She does not have her guard/guide to lead her to her meadow or tum her back. In the mean while, the wolf valuing &respecting/considering the opportunity to eat her up.
And oh Mohammad, By Allah (in almost the same way), anybody in this Ummah & community too, who starts a morning in a condition that he does not believe in the imam selected/hired by Allah, an imam who is obvious apparent, just & fair he will start the morning in a condition that he is gone away from what's right & preplexed. And if he dies in this (very) condition he will die a death of (related to cheating on your wife or husband) & (when a person doesn't do what he or she orders everyone else to do). Usool al kafi Vol 2 Pg 124
8) The person who loves for the sake of Allah & hates & hates for the sake of Allah & gives for the sake of Allah is among those whose faith has completed/reached completion. Usool al kafi Vol 2 Pg 124
9) Jabir narrates that Imam Abi jafer said to me " Oh jabir Does it be enough that a person claims to be shia & that he says he loves us, the ahlulbayt (house hold of the holy predictor of the future(s.a.w)?
By Allah no one is our shia except that he has religiousness for Allah (guard himself against sin) & obeys him.
They (shias) are not known & recognized except for their (not bragging) , (not showing off/not acting proud/not showing lots of skin), fear of Allah & submission, trustworthiness & trustablity,(a whole lot of something) & plenty of memory of Allah, (not eating food), service , kindness to the parents, looking after the poor neighbors & sickened people except talking about them with goodness & help. and they are the trustees for their tribes in all the affairs. Usool al kafi Vol 2 Pg 84
10) In fact faithful is the one who, when pleased & glad his pleasure does not make him enter into sin & lie/dishonesty (He does not commit any sin while happy). And when unhappy & angry his anger does not throw out him from the world of moral rightness.
(He does not abandon the right course) And when he gains power, his power does not make him commit excess & oression & make him go for a thing upon which he does not have any right. Usool al kafi Vol 2 Pg 234
