Qasim son of Imam Hassan (as)

!

Qasim was the youngest son of Imam Hassan (pbuh), he was born in 47 Hijra, three (3) years before the death for a cause of his father. When Imam Hussain (pbuh) got ready to let go of Madina in the month of Rajab 60 Hijra. Qasim's mother Farwa asked Imam Hussain to take her and Qasim with him. Imam Hussain (pbuh) in agreement. Qasim, although only thirteen (13) years old, had, like his son or daughter of ones father's or mother's brother or sister Aun and Muhammad, learned fencing from Abbas and Ali Akbar. After Aun and Muhammad had fallen in the place of fight, Qasim came to Imam Hussain (pbuh) and requested for authority to go and fight. twice Imam Hussain (pbuh) refused saying "Qasim you are young and your mother's only son." After much strong request, received the authority to let go of for the place of fight, being very young, there was no metal cover used by army that was go into for his years, nor a head-cover to keep safe nor shoes, nor arms. Imam Hussain (pbuh) tied Imam Hassan's head cloth (Amamah) on the head of Qasim and helped him mountain his Horse. Qasim came to the place of fight. He was a very good-looking boy. When the person hated saw him, they began to low talking, "How can we put to death someone whose face is shining like moon?" In a loud and a clear voice Qasim introduced himself and cried out a sporting offer for single fight. He put to death several greatly respected fighting men who came forward. When 'Umar son of Saad' saw the power of controlling fear of this young fighter, he ordered his troops to attack him in force. They came, was, put all round him from all sides, and attacked him with long knives, fighting instruments formed of sharp point on long rod, short blades and pointers. An person hated army man be in touch him on his head with such force that he fell from his horse. Imam Hussain (pbuh) stood near the canvas houses as he kept his horse's guiding cords. clearly he was ready and ready. At once he heard a cry. It was Qasim: "Ya Ammah!" (O 1 mother/father's brother!). Imam Hussain (pbuh) flew on the horse like a hunting falcon. As he arrived by the side of Qasim, about two hundred men had came, was, put all round this very young person. They fled as the Imam attacked, and one of the person hated's men who had got off to cut, make a division of Qasim's head was himself stamped on under the animal feet of the horses of his going away from friends. When the Imam arrived at Qasim's side, there was so much dust and orderless mind that nobody could see what was event; when the dust settle down, they saw the Imam being seated at Qasim's side with his head in his arms. They heard the Imam complete this group of words making sense: "my brother's (sister's) son! By the highest being, it is very hard on your mother/father's brother that you should name him and he should not be able to give a reaction, or that he should give a reaction without being able to do anything for you!" It was at this short time that a cry came from this young persons and his bodyless being gone away in the direction of its one putting into existence. Note: The one who is said to have been stamped on to death under the animal feet of the horses was one of the person hated's men, not Qasim. And the go to person in authority about the getting married of Qasim to 'Fatema Kubra' the daughter of Imam Hussain (pbuh), on the night before 'Ashura' is not true. Another two sons (Abdullah and Hassan-e-Mussanna) of Imam Hassan (pbuh) were also took part in the fight of Karbala, apart from Qasim. Qasim and Abdullah were put to death for a cause, while Hassan-e-Mussanna born from Ju'ada daughter of Ash'ath still lived.
