True statements of Imam Hasan(AS)

- The people who talk to for their affairs will surely be guided to the right.

- Meanness is to avoid thanking the grace.

- Imam al-Hasan(AS) said to one of his sons: O son, do not become friends with anyone before you know his means and sources. When you try him and please to spend time with/talk to him, you should then become friends with him on bases of pardoning his faults and making him feel better in bad luck
- Do not fight the dim and like the fighting of the proud (about winning) and do not depend upon the pre-planned future like the giving up. To look (for) the graces is a (something that predicts the future) tradition and to look (for) moderately is a form of (never having sex). However, neither (never having sex) will stop the earnings nor will (desire to buy many things)bring any (more than needed). The earnings are already divided and (desire to buy many things)leads to sins.

- The true close one is that whom is drawn near by friendliness despite the far family relationship, and the true remote one is that whom is taken away by friendliness despite the near family relationship. Nothing is closer to the body than the hand. Hands may be cut off (a leg, arm, etc.) and cut due to betrayal.

- He who depends upon Allah's good option for him will not wish to be in a situation other than that which Allah chooses him.

- Dishonor is less (bad, but not too bad) than the fire (of Hell).

- The good that doesn't have evil is to thank the grace and to tolerate the bad luck

- Imam Hasan(AS) said to a man who had just been cured from a disease: Allah has talked aboutyou; therefore, you should talk about Him, and has pardoned you; therefore, you should thank Him.

-Imam Hasan(AS) said when he ended/decided the peace agreement (between countries) with Muawiya: By Allah, it was not doubt or sadness that made us stop angrily facing/standing up topeople of Syria. We could fight the Syrian people with safety and unstoppable nature. Today, hatred, unfortunately, grabbed and took control of the safety and intolerance grabbed and took control of the unstoppable nature. When you fought in (the fight of) Siffin, your religion washappened before to your worldly life. Today, your worldly life is happened before to your religion.

- I do not know anyone who is not foolish in his relation to His Lord.

-As someone accused him of enjoying snobbiness, Imam Hasan(AS) said: No, I enjoy honor. Allah says: Honor belongs to Allah, His Messenger and the believers. (Holy Qur'an 63:8).

- Describing the features of one of his honest and good friends, Imam Hasan(AS) said: He was the greatest of people in my eye. The head of his personalitys that made him great in my eye was the unimportant nature of this world in his eyes. He was beyond the power of (the state of having no knowledge)

He extended his hand to no one except the trustful and only for a (money made/good thing received). He was not complaining, showing dissatisfaction, or complaining in an upset way. He spent most of his time with silence; but when he spoke, he was doing an excellent job the speakers. He was weak and weak, but (in the original position)ations of seriousness, he was as same as an attacking lion. When he was sitting with the educated people, he was obeyinglistening more than speaking.

He was not overcome in silence even if he was overcome in speaking. He was not saying what he would not do and was doing what he did not say. When he ignored which of the two matters, which he met, was the nearer to his Lord, he used to notice the one that was nearer to his passion so that he would take in the other. He avoided blaming anyone for a matter the like of which might be excused.

- He who goes to to the mosque will gain one of eight things- a clear (Quranic) Verse, a useful friend, an original information, an expected mercy, a word that guides to the right, a word that saves from hell, or a desertion of sins whether shyly or terribly/scared

- People of Quraish visited Imam Hasan(AS) for the birth of a male baby. They said (their usual expression of congratulation in such an occasion): "Enjoy the existence of this knight." He answered, "What is this saying? Who knows, he may be walking." "O son of Allah's Messenger," said Jabir, "What should we say then?" The Imam(AS) answered: To congratulate for a male newborn, you should say: May you thank the Giveer, blessed be this gift, and Allah may cause him to reach maturity and give you with his earnings.

- As he was asked about kindness to women, Imam Hasan(AS) answered: Kindness to womenis to cling to the religion, recondition the wealth, and satisfy the duties completely.

- The most seeing/able to appreciate fine things sight is what is most piercing in the good. The most sharp-eyed hearing is that which keeps/holds the reminding and makes benefits. The soundest heart is what is pure from suspicions.

- As a man asked him for advice, Imam Hasan(AS) said: Avoid praising me because I know myself better than you do. Avoid going against me because the opinions of those whom are went against are valueless. Avoid mean/not loyal anyone before me." As the man asked the Imam's permission to leave, the Imam(AS) permitted him.

- He who looks (for) worship should clean himself for it. Decline the recommendableceremonies if they injure the required ones. Conviction is safety/safe place for safety. He who considers the long trip will surely prepare for it. The smart should not cheat those who look (for)advice. Between the warning and you lies the screen of snobbiness. Knowledge (makes worthless or meaningless) the excuses of the learners. Every expected/looked ahead to(one) asks for (a) break and every given a break busies himself with irresponsibility

- O servants of Allah, fear Allah, seek(from Him) seriously and escape(His punishment). Enter upon acting before the happening to of the punishment and the coming of the distroyer of the pleasures. The comfort of this world is not never-ending, its bad luck cannot be trusted, and its troubles cannot be avoided. It is surely an unsteady false belief and a slanting pillar.

O servants of Allah, you should therefore take a warning from the examples, learn lessons from the transmitted events, stop committing sins for the sake of Paradise, and benefit by thewarnings. Allah is a (good) enough protector and supporter, the Book (of Allah) is (good) enougharguer and enemy, Paradise is a (good) enough reward, and Hell is a (good) enough penalty and evil result.

- When you meet your friends, you should kiss them on the place of light in the forehead.

- As he passed by some people who were playing and laughing on the Eid-ul-Fitr, Imam Hasan(AS) stopped at them and said:

Allah has made the month of Ramadan the racetrack of His creatures so that they will fight against each other in acts of obedience to Him to reach His satisfaction. Some people happened before others and could win, while others dropped behind and failed. How strange that who plays and laughs on the day when the good-doers are rewarded and the wrongdoers are losing is! By Allah I take the promise, if the cover is removed, they will realize that the good-doers are involved in their advantages and the people (who do terrible, cruel things) are involved in their sins. The Imam(a) then left.
